North Myrtle
Beach.
A quieter, more relaxed coastal community with pristine beaches, championship golf, and a family-friendly atmosphere — all with easy access to the Grand Strand's amenities.
The family beach
with championship golf.
North Myrtle Beach was formed in 1968 from the consolidation of four small beach communities: Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Windy Hill, and Crescent Beach. Each retains a distinct character, and together they form one of the most desirable residential areas on the Grand Strand.
With approximately 18,000 year-round residents, North Myrtle Beach is larger in area but quieter in pace than its southern neighbor. It offers miles of wide, uncrowded beach, a growing number of restaurants and shops, and some of the best golf in the region.
The Barefoot Resort community — featuring four championship golf courses designed by Greg Norman, Davis Love III, Pete Dye, and Tom Fazio — has become a major draw for both full-time residents and vacation-home buyers.
